Application to the Kabdebó Lóránt Multidisciplinary College for Advanced Studies

The Kabdebó Lóránt Multidisciplinary College for Advanced Studies welcomes applications from students who would like to take part, alongside their university studies, in academic workshops, research projects, conferences, lectures, mentoring programmes and community events.

Who can apply?

The College welcomes applications from talented Hungarian and international students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Miskolc who have completed at least one semester, have an active student status and are committed to academic and research work. Both full-time and part-time students are eligible to apply.

What does the College offer?

• academic support for TDK and OTDK research projects;
• opportunities to participate in conferences and publish research;
• academic, cultural and community programmes;
• career development opportunities.

Workshops

The College has three Hungarian-language workshops and one English-language workshop:

• Humanities Workshop;
• Social Sciences Workshop;
• Education Workshop;
• Cultural Encounters Lab.

Choosing a mentor and scholarship

Students admitted to the College choose a mentor from among the participating university lecturers, or, where appropriate, a mentor may be assigned by the workshop leaders. Students admitted to the College receive a scholarship.
